Auto-Assignment vs Manual
Toggle ON in the Revision Date tab: Dates are automatically assigned when specs change
Toggle OFF: You must manually assign dates
Steps for Manual Assignment
Go to the Specs tab
Highlight the specs you want to date (use filters if needed)
Click the Issue/Revision button
Select the date from the calendar
Click Apply
Tips
You can select all specs or filter by category, area, or type first
Even with auto-assignment on, you can manually override dates
The first date created is the Issue Date; subsequent dates are Revision Dates
