Steps:

Creating the Purchase Order

You can start a PO from three places:

From the Items tab

1. Go to the Items tab on the left

2. Highlight the items you want to include

3. Click the Purchase Order button

You can also use the vendor dropdown to filter the list down to items from one vendor first, then highlight those items and click Purchase Order. Other filters are available here as well.

From the Vendors tab

1. Go to the Vendors tab

2. Select a vendor to see a list of all items specified for that vendor

3. Click Create Purchase Order to make a PO for all items from that company

Editing and Exporting the PO

Once the PO is pulled up:

1. Add side marks, and change the description or quantity as needed

2. Click Save

3. Go to the Details tab and scroll down to fill in any of the following:

- Ship To (pull this from your project list)

- Who submitted the PO

- Terms and instructions

- Approvals

4. Click Download PDF

5. Send the PDF off to your vendor

Many of these details can be filled in by default through your Configuration workspace, so you don't have to re-enter them on every PO.
