New customers often have these ideas. Here is what really happens.
The AI and your fans
"Once it's on, the AI takes all my fans." It takes every new subscriber if AI by default is on (Settings, General). For fans who were already there, open Conversations, filter, tick the box at the top of the table, click "Select all … matching items" if there is more than one page, then click Enable all.
"The AI replies instantly." It waits at least 30 seconds after the fan's last message, and every new message restarts the wait. It replies to fans whether they are online or not.
"The AI turned itself off." An alert that stops the conversation turned it off, most often "Out of script": the conversation shows "Awaiting" in Conversations. Add scripts, then turn its automation back on.
"Replying to the fan myself restarts the AI." Your message clears the wait, but the AI stays off in that conversation: turn its automation back on.
"The schedule turns a paused AI back on." No: when paused, the AI doesn't reply, even within its hours. The schedule only applies when the model's AI is on.
"I can turn the AI off on one platform only." There are only two switches: the model's and the conversation's. To remove a platform, use Unlink this platform account. For different settings on one platform, duplicate the model, unlink the account from the first one and link it to the copy.
Scripts
"The AI copies a step's message word for word." It takes inspiration from it and adapts it to the conversation.
"One script is enough." A script is used only once per conversation. With no script available, the AI stops selling and the "Out of script" alert stops the conversation. Aim for at least 4 to 5 active scripts (see "How many scripts do you need?").
"Scripts are picked at random." The AI takes the most recent active script this fan hasn't had yet, usable on their platform and with no media they have already seen.
"Turning a script off doesn't affect ongoing conversations." Turning a script on or off removes it from every conversation using it. Editing an active script without turning it off removes it from nowhere.
Media and connection
"I upload my media from my computer." Media come from the platform's media library: put them on MYM, OnlyFans or Reveal first, then bring them in with Synchronize.
"I need to install an app, or keep the extension open." The app runs in the browser, phones included. The Chrome extension is used to connect or reconnect OnlyFans and Reveal from a computer; MYM connects with an email and password, from a phone too.
"Several models can share the same Chrome." With the extension, use one Chrome profile per platform account: two accounts of the same platform in the same profile log each other out.
Credits and tiers
"An AI that chats without selling uses credits." Messages cost nothing. Credits pay the commission on what the AI earns you, and AI generations (media descriptions, script generation).
"A tier unlocks features." Every feature is included on Free. A tier only lowers the commission.
"The tier applies as soon as I pay." Assign it to the model's platform account (Billing, Assign): without it, the commission stays at 20%. A tier covers one platform account.
"Credits pay for the subscription." They are two separate payments: credits, which you top up in Billing, and the tier, paid by card every month.
"Deleting the model or pausing the AI stops the tier." No: cancel it (Billing, Manage in Stripe) or remove it from the account (Remove from account) to assign it to another one.
"Displayed prices include tax." Tier prices exclude tax.
"My balance is refunded if I stop." Credits are not refundable, as stated when you top up.
"The sale counts as soon as the fan says they paid." Only the media being unlocked on the platform counts.
"Transactions should show the same figure as the platform." Transactions only shows the AI's sales, at the media price; the platform also counts the sales you made by hand.
Organization
"I accept an invitation from the email." Sign in to the app with the address that received the invitation, then click Accept (see "Working as a team: your organization").
