Changing Your Plan

Why This Matters

Your needs change. Maybe you started solo and now have a team. Or you're scaling down to focus on fewer clients. Either way, you shouldn't be stuck with the wrong plan.

The bottom line: We don't have self-service plan changes yet. Contact support and we'll handle it quickly.

Current Reality

No automated system: You can't change plans yourself through the dashboard yet.

Support handles it: Our team processes all plan changes manually.

Usually same day: Most plan changes happen within a few hours of your request.

How to Change Plans

Step 1: Contact us through our support channels with your request

Step 2: Include these details:

  • Current plan name

  • Desired new plan (Freelancer or Agency)

  • Billing preference (monthly or annual)

  • When you want it to take effect

Step 3: We'll confirm and process the change

What to Expect

Upgrading (Freelancer → Agency)

  • Immediate access to new features and credits

  • Prorated billing for the current period

  • All your work stays exactly the same

Downgrading (Agency → Freelancer)

  • Next billing cycle - you keep Agency features until then

  • Credit adjustment to new monthly allocation

  • May need to remove excess team members or organize brands

Special Cases

Legacy Users

Your pricing might be different. Mention you're a legacy user and include your original purchase details.

Annual Subscribers

Plan changes work the same way, but billing adjustments are calculated differently. We'll explain the math before processing.

Team Removals

If downgrading means you exceed team limits, we can help remove members or you can do it before the change.

Timeline

Typical processing:

  • Upgrades: Same day (usually within hours)

  • Downgrades: Scheduled for next billing cycle

  • Annual changes: May take 1-2 business days for billing calculations

What We Need from You

Essential info:

  • Your account email

  • Current plan

  • Desired plan

  • Timing preference

Helpful extras:

  • Reason for change (helps us serve you better)

  • Any billing questions

  • Team member management needs

The Future

We're building self-service plan changes into the dashboard. For now, the personal touch means we can handle special cases and answer questions during the switch.

Common Situations

"I need more credits this month" → Consider one-time credit packs instead of plan change

"My team is growing" → Upgrade to Agency for unlimited team members

"I'm scaling back" → Downgrade at next billing cycle, export any work that exceeds new limits

"I want annual billing" → We can switch you and calculate the prorated amount
