  1. Windows: Use AVI files for video backgrounds or elements. Import via the "Load Video" button.

  2. Mac: Use Quicktime MOV files. mport via the "Load Video" button.

  3. Cross-Platform Transfer: For simulations created on Windows and transferred to Mac or iPad, use MP4 files. Include the MP4 with exported (.dcs, .lbr) or published (.dcx) files (page 118).

Practical Tips:

  • Convert videos to AVI, MOV, or MP4 using 3rd party tools like VLC Media Player or HandBrake before importing.

  • Store videos in Documents\FireStudio7\Videos for organization (page 10).
