Blue Card program: getting your Fire Studio Player license

When Blue Card instructors get their free Fire Studio Player license for iPad, which version they need, and what to do if they have an old username or reset their iPad.

Written by Rich Merritt

Blue Card instructors receive a free Fire Studio Player license for the iPad as part of the Blue Card program.

Where do I get the app?

Download the Fire Studio Player app from the Apple App Store on your iPad. Then sign in with the License ID and password you receive.

When will I get my license?

Your License ID and password are set up after Blue Card staff enter you into the system. This can take up to 2 weeks after your class. If you haven't received your license after 2 weeks, contact Blue Card Command to check that you've been entered.

Which version do I need?

The Blue Card simulations need Fire Studio Player version 6.5 or newer.

I was given a username, not a License ID

That's our older login system. We can move you to a License ID and password. Email support@digitalcombustion.com with your name, department and city, and a team member will take care of it.

My iPad was reset or the app was reinstalled

You'll need a new License ID and password for that iPad. Email support@digitalcombustion.com with your name, department and city.
