FAQs - Completeness Scoring & Risk Scoring
Diligentsia uses automated completeness scoring and risk scoring across many modules to provide an indication of your company’s:
Investment readiness
Growth readiness
Exit readiness
Scoring can be viewed:
By section
By module
For your company overall
These scores help you understand where to focus your efforts to improve your corporate organisation and readiness.
Your scores are then aggregated by algorithm into an overall certification level (Bronze, Silver or Gold).
For full certification requirements, see the Certification article.
Completeness Score
Q What is the completeness score?
The completeness score shows how much of a module you have completed. It is calculated in real time as you complete questions and sections within a module. If you authorise third parties, they can also view your completeness level.
Completeness is a key component in determining certification level. You can return to any section at any time to improve your completeness.
Q: How it my completeness score calculated?
Diligentsia uses proprietary algorithms to calculate completeness. In practical terms:
The more sections and questions you complete,
The higher your completeness score.
The nature of your answers does not affect completeness, only whether sections are completed.
Q: What completeness score is required for bronze, silver and gold certification?
Minimum completeness thresholds for:
Bronze
Silver
Gold
are available inside: Company Dashboard → Certification
Q: How can I improve my completeness score?
Complete unanswered sections
Ensure all required questions are filled in
Revisit modules to finish partially completed areas
Q: Why is completeness important?
Completeness allows:
You to see how much of your corporate information has been structured
Third parties (if authorised) to assess organisational readiness
The certification algorithm to assess progression
The more complete your modules, the clearer the picture of your readiness.
Risk Score
Q: What is the risk score?
The risk score indicates the degree of risk exposure reflected in your answers. It is calculated in real time as you complete modules. You can view risk scoring:
By section
By module
Across the company overall
Risk scoring is also a key component in certification.
Q: How is my risk score calculated?
Diligentsia uses proprietary algorithms to calculate risk. In general:
Where you demonstrate effective processes and organisation, risk is lower.
Where gaps, weaknesses, or exposure appear in answers, risk is higher.
Section-level risk scores are aggregated into:
Module-level risk scores
An overall company risk score
Q: What risk score is required for certification?
Minimum risk thresholds for Bronze, Silver and Gold certification are contained in:
Company Dashboard → Certification
Q: How can I improve my risk score?
You improve risk score by:
Demonstrating effective processes
Providing accurate and structured answers
Addressing weaknesses identified in modules
Updating answers as improvements are made
You can return to modules at any time to update responses.
Q: Why is risk scoring important?
Risk scoring helps:
Identify areas of vulnerability
Highlight operational or governance weaknesses
Prioritise improvement efforts
Risk and completeness together determine certification progression.
Q: What prevents manipulation of responses?
Nothing technically prevents a user from presenting an overly positive picture. However:
Misrepresentation does not benefit the company long term.
Investors or purchasers may examine reports during due diligence.
Inaccurate representations may damage credibility.
Q: Can investors rely on the risk score?
No. Scoring is indicative only and is based on self-audited inputs (unless audited under Pro Plus). Third parties must conduct their own independent due diligence.
Diligentsia provides the tools, it does not guarantee outcomes.
Q: Is Diligentsia liable for investment decisions?
No. Diligentsia provides a technology platform and expressly disclaims responsibility for third-party investment decisions
