User registration from an owner invite is the process that occurs where an account owner invites additional users from their company to register themselves as a user on the platform.

This is the process that occurs where an account owner invites additional users from their company to register themselves as a user on the platform.

Q: How do I invite another user to use Diligentsia?

To invite another user to use Diligentsia, follow the below steps.

Step 1 - Owner goes to Company Settings > User Permissions > Add New Member:

Or you can add from your Company's dashboard

Step 2 -Enter your new user's company email address.

We check that the user is not already registered with us.

If user does not exist, the user needs to be created but if the user already exists, details popup.

Step 3 - You provide us their details and set their module/section permissions(modules that you want them to have access to)

Step 4 - An invitation/verification email is sent by us to your user invitee

You, the inviter, is also sent an email to keep you in the loop on the status of your invite:

When your invitee has activated their account on the Diligentsia platform, the inviter/owner is informed via another email:

You can keep track of the status of your invitations on your Members table:

Step 5 - Review the permissions granted to your users (and your own) on your user permission table.

Q: How do I edit/change a user's permissions?

To edit/change a user's permissions, an account owner can follow these steps:

Step 1 - Owner goes to Company Settings > User Permissions > All Members:

Or you can just tick/untick the boxes of the permissions you wish to change.

Step 2 - you can see a record of users and edits in your audit log of the module.

Q: Does accepting a user invitation from an owner invite email cost me anything?

No - accepting a user registration from an owner invite email is free.

Q: Can I monitor who has accepted my user invites onto the platform?

Yes - you can monitor your user invites that have been accepted via Company Settings > User Permissions > All members

Q: Can I limit a user's access to specific modules?

Yes - if you are an account "owner" on the platform, you can set permissions for each and every module via Company Settings > User Permissions.

Q: Can I limit a user's access to specific sections of a module?

Yes - if you are an account "owner" on the platform, you can set permission/limit access for each section within a module via Company Settings > User Permissions or click here. Sections that are not available to another user can still be seen in the module index, but they are "greyed out".

Q: Can I limit a user's access to our Data Room?

Yes - if you are an account "owner" on the platform, you can set access or denial from to your company's Data Room in your cloud provider, but this is binary - you can either give permission to the whole of your Diligentsia data room or none at all.

Q: How can i delete an added user?

Follow the steps below to delete an added user from your company.

Step 1: Go to Company Settings > User Permissions > All members.

Step 2: Navigate to the user you wish to remove and click delete.

Step 3: Confirm deletion.
