Pre-Requisite

You will need an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator, Duo, or one-password for this. Dispel can integrate with any TOTP tool! The most common download links are listed below.

Configure Your MFA

  1. On the dispel console, navigate to the Account Settings page by clicking on the account bubble and then Account settings.

  2. Click "Set up" under the Authenticator app section near the bottom of the page.

  3. Save your recovery codes in a safe place

    1. The download as .txt document button will save the codes to a text document on your local machine

    2. Alternatively you can use the copy to clipboard button and paste them somewhere safe of your choosing.

  4. Scan the QR code or provide the text secret to your authenticator app of choice.

    1. Enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app in the provided box, and click Set up authenticator app.

  5. You will be met with a success page, and your authenticator will be enabled. On your next login you will be prompted for the 6-digit code from you authenticator app.
