Please contact us with your store/website URL and the user ID you've set for us via the live chat option on our app to confirm that you've connected PayPal.

Part 1: Adding Disputifier as a user

This is necessary as we may use human input to help you win and analyze disputes.

To add us as a user, go back to your normal PayPal dashboard

  1. Step 1: Click "Account Settings"

  2. Step 2: Click "Update' under "Manage Users"

  3. Step 3: Click "Add User"

    1. There are certain regions where Paypal would require you to provide an address when you send a user invite. The address to provide is:

      Country or Region: United States

      Street Address: 500 W 2nd St Suite 1900,

      City: Austin

      State: TX

      Zip Code: 78701

    2. Please note, you can set any user ID for us.

      1. For Example: Disputifier1234

  4. Step 4: Enter the following user information. Be sure to use 4 unique numbers for the user ID.

  5. Step 5: Select the following permissions:

    1. Access APIs and developer support site

    2. Process refunds and resolve disputes

    3. Access Message Center

Part 2: How to connect PayPal

  1. Step 1: Navigate to Settings > Integrations within Disputifier. Click "Add" under PayPal

  2. Step 2: Login to PayPal. Click "Developer"

  3. Step 3: Click "Apps & Credentials". Ensure that the toggle status is set to live.

  4. Step 4: Click "Create App". Name the app "Disputifier" or whatever you'd like.



  5. Step 5: Steps:

    1. Copy the Client ID

    2. Paste this in Disputifier

    3. Copy the Secret key

    4. Paste this in Disputifier

    5. You can use the same user ID that you set for Disputifier in Step 1

    6. Save

      Note: Multiple PayPal accounts can be integrated by clicking the "Acct. #2", "Acct. #3" buttons.

  6. Step 6: Select "Customer disputes" and "Transaction search" permissions. Click "Save changes".

That's it!
