How to edit an order

This article explains how to edit orders.

Editing an order that has not been sent to production

  1. Go to the Orders screen in the app and select the order you wish to edit.

  2. To add or update the table number assigned to the order:

    • Press the Table number in the top left corner of the cart

    • Select a table

  3. To add a customer to the order:

    • Press the Customer button

    • Select a customer

    • Press Save to link them to the order

  4. To update the guest count:

    • Press the Guest button

    • Enter a new guest count

    • Press OK

  5. To add an order note:

    • Press the Order note button

    • Enter the order note

    • Press Save

    • Edit the order note by pressing the Edit button on the note

  6. To update the order type, open the cash drawer, or add loyalty to the order:

    • Press the Order number arrow button in the top right corner of the cart

    • Press each button respectively

Editing an order sent to production

  1. To cancel items on sent orders:

    • Press the X button next to the item

    • Enter a reason for the cancellation

    • Press Cancel

  2. To cancel an order that has been sent to production:

    • Press the Order number arrow in the top right corner

    • Press Clear order

    • Enter a reason for clearing the order

    • Press Clear

Note: When an order or an item in an order is cancelled, a cancelled order/item docket will be printed to production. All other update functions that can be performed on unsent orders can also be performed on sent orders.
