This module can be used to compare results with a reference module and define specific validation criteria. Follow this guide to configure an audit module in your training.
1. Access the training editing page
Log in to Dokeos LMS as a trainer or administrator.
Go to the editing page of the training you wish to configure. If you are creating a new training, start by creating the training.
Once in the editing page, go to the "Module" step.
2. Configure the audit module
In the "Modules" section, locate the audit module you wish to configure.
Click the "Configuration" button next to this module. A configuration window will open, allowing you to customize various settings.
Step 1: Choose the reference module
In the configuration window, you must first choose the reference module with which you want to compare the audit module's results. This will allow you to set a comparison threshold at the end of the test.
You will also see the following information:
The title of the training
The location of the audit module in the training, indicated by a hash (#)
Step 2: Define the number of files to complete
Number of files: Specify the number of files the learner must complete during the module. You can set a minimum and maximum number of files to complete.
Step 3: Define the minimum time required
You can also set a minimum required time to pass the audit module. This ensures that the learner spends enough time to complete the necessary evaluations.
Step 4: Set best practices level and define number of questions
Best practices level: This section allows you to set a threshold and percentage to be achieved for the learner to validate the module. For example, you can set that a score of 80% or more is required for the module to be considered validated.
Total number of questions: Choose how many questions will be asked in the audit module in total.
Number of questions per category: You can also define a specific number of questions for each skill category or topic.
Step 5: Configure feedback
For each category, you can provide personalized feedback. This feedback will be displayed to the learner based on their score in each category:
Feedback for a score above the best practices level: Write a message that will be shown when the learner achieves a score equal to or higher than the best practices threshold.
Feedback for a score below the best practices level: Write a message for learners who did not meet the minimum threshold. This may include recommendations for improving their skills or following additional training.
3. Finalize the configuration
Once all the parameters are filled out and customized, click "Validate" to apply the settings.
The audit module will then be configured according to your choices and will be ready for use in the training.
Conclusion
Configuring the audit module in Dokeos LMS allows you to personalize evaluation and tracking criteria based on learners' performance on files and questions. You can adjust time parameters, the number of files, and best practices thresholds to ensure effective assessment.
