his tutorial will guide you through the process of resetting a participant’s progress in a module within a training course on Dokeos LMS. This option can be useful if you need to reset a participant’s progress in a module. Follow the steps below to complete this reset.
Step 1: Log in with the administrator role
To reset a participant’s progress, you must log in with the Administrator role on Dokeos LMS. Once logged in, go to the left side menu to access the Statistics section.
Step 2: Access reports and select a learner
In the left side menu, click on Statistics, then select Report. On this page, click on Learner to access the list of participants in the training course.
Step 3: Select the learner
Once on the learner reports page, choose the participant whose progress you want to reset. This will redirect you to their individual statistics page.
Step 4: Choose the relevant training course
On the learner’s statistics page, select the relevant training course. You will then be redirected to a page displaying all the modules in that training course, along with participation statistics for each module.
Step 5: Reset participation
Next to each module, you will find a reset button. Clicking this button will reset the learner’s progress in the module, regardless of the module type (in-person, online, etc.).
Important:
Resetting participation removes all progress data. Once reset, the previous participation cannot be recovered. Make sure this is the action you want to take.
The reset option is only available if the learner has not yet completed the training course and their progress rate is less than 100%.
Step 6: Confirm the reset
Once you click the reset button, the learner’s participation in the module will be reset to zero.
By following these steps, you can easily reset a learner’s participation in a specific module on Dokeos LMS.
