In the following tutorial, you will learn to differentiate the different roles that you can assign on your portal with Dokeos LMS (creator of e-learning solutions that supports companies, training providers and multinationals in their online training projects)

The different roles are the following:

The LEARNER. He can:

  • Access the courses that have been assigned;

  • Post messages in the forum of courses to which he is registered;

  • Access his own statistics.

 The TRAINER. He has the same rights as the LEARNER, but he can also:

  • Create modules and courses;

  • Access the statistics of HIS modules and courses.

The GROUP MANAGER. He has the same rights as the LEARNER, but he can also:

  • Manage groups that are assigned to him;

  • View the statistics of HIS groups.

The ADMINISTRATOR. He has the same rights as the LEARNER, but he can also:

  • Set the interface of the portal;

  • Access all the courses and modules of the portal;

  • Manage the image library for the covers of the courses;

  • Import / delete users of the portal;

  • Create groups;

  • Manage the filters and categories;

  • Create the certificates;

  • Manage Shopify if the catalog is currently on his portal;

  • Access statistics of modules and courses present on the portal.

The MANAGER. He has the same rights as the LEARNER but he can also:

  • Access the statistics of modules and courses available on the portal;

  • Validate the requests of registrations to courses.
