DOKEOS LIVE allows you to organize meetings, courses and conferences online by connecting to a specific URL.

  • Organize your meetings and conferences online.

  • Share your screen.

  • Enjoy a quality audio and HD video.

This tool incorporated into the Dokeos portal does not require any additional installation on your computer.

ATTENTION :

  • It is recommended to use Firefox, Edge and Chrome. Internet Explorer being out of date for this type of technology.

  • It is necessary to have a good bandwidth.

  • It is recommended not to leave everyone's webcams and mics on. This leads to a decrease in the quality of the meeting.

Connection of the host


The ideal is that the host connects first so that the participants can access the “room”. Without the host, they must wait until he arrives.

If you are the host, click on “I am the host”, and enter the login and password that the Dokeos team has communicated to you.

Enter your name

Thanks to the buttons in the bottom left, you can:

  • Share your screen,

  • Raise your hand to ask a question,

  • Access the chat.Partager votre écran,

Thanks to the buttons in the middle, you can:

  • Enable/disable your microphone,

  • Leave the meeting,

  • Enable/disable your webcam.

Share the URL of the meeting

Whether you are host or member, you have the option to share the URL of the meeting. The host has the possibility to put a password if he wants the meeting to be private.

The host and his rights:

The host manages the meeting, therefore he has administrative rights.

He can :

  • Adjust the quality of the video,

  • View the meeting in full screen,

  • Broadcast the meeting live using a broadcast platform,

  • Record the meeting,

  • Share a YouTube video,

  • Share documents,

  • Access the settings (change his name and indicate his email address as well as change his

  • video and audio preferences),

  • Switch off the microphones of everyone,

  • Access the statistics of the interlocutor (= time of speech),

  • Show shortcuts

The member and his rights:

The member follows the meeting managed by the host, and therefore has no administration rights.

He can :

  • Adjust the quality of the video,

  • View the meeting in full screen,

  • Broadcast the meeting live using a broadcast platform,

  • Share a YouTube video,

  • Share documents,

  • Access the settings (change his name and indicate his email address as well as change his video and audio preferences),

  • Access the statistics of the interlocutor (= time of speech),

  • Show shortcuts

The recording of the meeting

1. Click on "Start recording"

2. Click on "Stop recording"

3. Click on "Download recording"

4. Click on the three dots and click on the "Download" icon
