Track and verify your DEP Vendor IDs 🍏
We’ve introduced a new DEP Vendor ID Checklist — an interactive tool within Dots designed to help you manage and track Vendor IDs directly from your account.
This checklist gives your team a clear and shared view of all Vendor IDs used for Apple device enrollment, helping you stay organized and avoid delays. Can be found under tab settings.
You can now:
View all Vendor IDs used in your Apple device orders
Track new Vendor IDs introduced in recent purchases
Mark each Vendor ID as verified within Dots
👉 This helps ensure Vendor IDs are properly added to your Apple Business Manager and prevents delays or blocks in the enrollment process.
Good to know:
After adding a Vendor ID to your Apple Business Manager, you’ll need to manually mark it as verified in Dots to keep your checklist up to date.
Secure login with OneLogin (SSO) 🔐
Dots now supports Single Sign-On (SSO) with OneLogin.
This allows your team to:
Log in securely via your OneLogin portal
Access Dots using your company authentication
Clearer asset assignment visibility 🔍
We’ve improved visibility when assets appear assigned in Dots but are actually assigned to someone else in your MDM.
Now you can:
See when the displayed assignee is only the last known user in Dots
View the current MDM assignee email directly in the asset details
👉 This makes it easier to understand and resolve assignment mismatches.
