When a new user requests access to your school on DragonFly, that person needs to be approved by an administrator for safety purposes. Here's how to approve someone into your organization.

1. Log in to DragonFly on your computer's web browser and view your notifications on the Today page under the 'Administration' heading. Click on 'New People'. You can also access this list by clicking on 'New People' in the left-side menu.

2. This will open the Eligibility Checklist with new students highlighted at the top. Select the 'Coaches' or 'Staff' tabs in the filtering menu to see new coaches or staff members who have requested to join your school and need your approval.

3. Click on an individual's name to open their profile.

4. You will see a yellow banner on their profile with an approval notification. Select either the 'Approve' or 'Delete' button to take action on their request.

5. A pop-up window will appear and you will be required to type a four-digit code to approve the individual into your school on DragonFly. When you have entered the code, select the 'Approve' button.

6. If this person is a coach, you will be required to select which teams they will have access to in DragonFly. Click on the green arrow next to the team(s) and then select the 'Approve' button.

7. Once you have approved the coach, you will see their team(s) listed under their name. If you need to make any changes to their teams, select the 'Add/Change Sports' button.

If you need to update someone's permissions in DragonFly, select the icon with three dots (•••) and then 'Change roles' from the drop-down menu. Click here to learn more about updating permissions and roles for your coaches and staff.
