How to work with Emirates in DRCT

This guide offers key information to help you begin booking and issuing Emirates tickets. It also provides details about the product features and the available post-sale support.


👉 What can you do in the Emirates channel?

In this channel you can:

  • Make a calculation;

  • Create a booking;

  • View the created bookings;

  • Enter additional data. For example, passport, phone number, email address;

  • Reprice on the day of issue;

  • Issue tickets;

  • Add additional services (after the issuance);

  • Void tickets;

  • Cancel booking.


⚡️ How to create and issue tickets via DRCT extension?

Step 1. To start working in DRCT, enter in your GDS

  1. Passenger name.

  2. Flight segment.

  3. Calculation command, e.g. FXB.

❗️The following pricing commands are currently supported:


1. FXB

2. FXA

3. FXB/KC

4. FXB/SBF

5. FXB/R UP

Step 2: Calculate and book

✏️ At this point, DRCT will offer to calculate. At the right of the corner calculation window will pop up with price quote offered by DRCT.


Click on the «Book» button complete the reservation. Within 3-7 seconds the booking will be created in DRCT.

Step 3: Manage the booking

✏️ In order to start working with the booking, you need to open it in DRCT application by clicking on the blue icon in the right corner.

❗️Here you can proceed with following commands:

  • RTLOCATOR — to open the needed booking.

  • RTACTIVEPNR — to view all the active bookings.

  • TTP — to issue the ticket for current PNR.

  • TTM — to issue the baggage for current PNR.

  • XI/ER — to cancel the booking.

  • TRDC/ER — to void the ticket for current PNR.

  • AP [phone number] — to enter the phone number.

  • AP E [email] — to enter the email address.

  • SRFQTV LH HK-LH123456789111/P1 — to enter the FQTV.

  • SR DOCS YY HK1-P-UKR-FZ111111-UKR-14DEC97-F-03JUL30-DOE-JANE — to enter the passenger's passport information.

  • SRDOCOLHHK1-DOE GBR-V-11223344-LONDON GBR-18JUN21-USA-20MAY25/P1 — to enter passenger's visa information.

  • ADDlocator — to add passive segments in Amadeus.

Step 4: Issuing

✏️ Press TTP button or enter the command on your own and the ticket will be issued. All tickets issued will be included in the «Sales» section on the DRCT.aero website.


👩‍💻 How to create and issue tickets via DRCT search?

Step 1. Search

✏️ To get started, enter your search parameters and then click «Search». DRCT will provide you with flight options in a few moments.

Step 2: Create the booking

✏️ Select the flight and price that you would like, and then provide the passenger details. You may enter contact details if needed. Otherwise, information from your DRCT account will be included.


Press the «Book» button once you're done. Or «Instant Issue» button if you are ready to issue the ticket immediately.

✏️ To open only the booking that you have created, please click on the green pop-up line labeled "Open booking.”

Step 3: Issue

✏️ Once you are redirected to the booking page, enter and save passport information and contact details.

✏️ When you are done, click on the «Issue» button located in the top right corner of the page to generate your tickets.

✏️ All tickets issued will be included in the «Sales» section on the DRCT.aero website. Here you can download the ticket in PDF format.


📈 Reprice on the date of issue

If you issue the ticket on the next day after the booking creation, the price may change. When you click "Issue", a window with the recalculated price will appear.

  • If the price is acceptable, click "Issue".

  • Otherwise, click "Cancel" to discard the action.

❗️If the price hasn’t changed, the ticket will be issued without any additional notifications.


⏰ Time limit

The system automatically applies the strictest available time limit. Since a remark is usually generated within 15 minutes after the booking is created, the time limit may change. If that happens, you’ll see a notification on the right bar.


🚀 Instant issuance

If there are less than 72 hours left before departure, the Emirates system doesn’t provide time limit, the booking must be issued immediately.

✏️ As per the standard procedure, please enter the passenger details and click “Continue.”

✏️ There will be no time limit in this case. To confirm ticket issuance, please click Issue. If the booking isn’t issued as soon as possible, it will be automatically canceled.


❌ Void and cancellation

After the tickets are issued, you are allowed to void them until the end of the day. For that, click "Void and cancel" button at the top right corner. The segments will be also removed automatically.

❗️The void is processed for all passengers in the booking. To split the passengers — please reach the support team.


💼 Additional services

You can add the seats in DRCT for Emirates.

At the booking stage, you can view the seat map and prices. But they can only be added or purchased after the tickets have been issued.
