A Step-by-Step Guide to Booking a Private Event on Eatwith

Are you looking for a unique and memorable dining experience for you and your group?

1. Check Event Eligibility for Private Booking:

Before you dive into the booking process, it's essential to determine whether the event you're interested in can be booked as a private event. Not all events are available for private booking. To filter events that can be booked as private, follow these steps:

  • Visit the Eatwith website and log into your account.

  • Browse through the available events.

  • Click on the filter icon to access filtering options.

  • Select "Private event" and then click on the "Search" button.

  • The filtered results will display events that can be booked as private.

2. Booking a Private Event:

a. Immediate Booking: If you're certain about the event and are ready to secure your spot, follow these steps:

  • Click on the event you're interested in.

  • On the event page, look for the "Book a private event" button and click on it.

  • Select the number of guests attending the event.

  • Choose the preferred date from the available options.

  • Click the "Book" button to proceed with the booking.

You'll be prompted to enter payment details to confirm your reservation. Follow the instructions to complete the payment process securely.

b. Requesting to Discuss Details: If you have specific questions or uncertainties about the event details, such as the final number of guests or the host's availability on a particular date, you can send a request to the host to discuss these matters before making a final decision. Here's how:

  • On the event page, find the option to "Contact the host with specific requests or this event!"

  • Click on it to initiate the request process.

  • You'll be prompted to provide details like the number of guests, preferred date, and any additional information you'd like to share.

  • Submit the request.

3. Communicating with the Host:

Once you've sent a request, the host will receive it and have the opportunity to respond via the Eatwith chat feature. This chat allows you to discuss event details, clear up any uncertainties, and come to an agreement with the host.

4. Confirming the Booking:

After you've communicated with the host and reached an agreement on the event's details, it's time to confirm the booking:

  • Once you and the host have settled on the details, the host can approve the request.

  • You'll receive a notification of the host's approval, and the event will be marked as "Waiting payment."

  • Proceed to the event page and click on the "Finalize and Pay" button to confirm the booking.

  • You'll be guided through the payment process. Payment is required to secure your private event reservation.

5. Payment and Confirmation:

Complete the payment process as prompted to finalize your private event booking. Once the payment is successfully processed, your booking will be confirmed, and you'll receive a confirmation email containing all the necessary details for the event.
