On any file page, you can access the Edit Captions page to modify your captions with ease.
Once on the Edit Captions page, you can:
Make direct edits from the transcript.
Add atmospherics or symbols.
Use the search and replace feature.
Resize the caption time blocks.
** Note that each caption line has a maximum of 32 characters to comply with accessibility standards.
We ensure captions are optimized for readability by maintaining a balance between syntax, semantics, and sentence structure, so they are concise and clear on screen.
How to Add Atmospherics or Symbols
To insert atmospherics or symbols, simply click on the desired one to copy it, then paste it into the transcript block.
How to Play the File While Editing
You can play the video while editing by pressing the Tab key on your keyboard.
Using the Caption Block Line
Clicking on any caption block at the bottom of the screen will display the corresponding caption in both the video player and transcript editor, allowing for seamless adjustments.
