Recipe Management

Updated this week

Editing Recipes

You can view all of your recipes, and make any amendments to them from the “Recipes” tab.

You'll be shown the recipe name, whether it is a sub-recipe, which sites the recipe is assigned to, the cost of the recipe and the status of the recipe.

If you'd like to amend a recipe, just click the "Edit" button by the recipe.

If you have "All Sites" selected from the top left drop down you will see all recipes, regardless of site allocation (including any recipes not assigned to a site).

If you have selected a specific site from the top left drop down you will be able to see all recipes assigned to that site.

Editing Recipes in Bulk

If you’d like to bulk edit multiple recipes (e.g. you’d like to add a new site to multiple recipes at once), you can multi-select using the checkboxes next to the recipe names on the left hand side.

You'll see that "Assign to Site(s)", "Change Status" and "Delete" become available in the top right.

Click "Assign to Site(s)" and then "Add" and tick all the sites you'd like these recipes to be assigned to.

Similarly, click "Change Status" and the select whether to Activate, Draft or Archive the recipes.

Click "Delete" to delete the selected recipes permanently.

Permanently delete a recipe

To remove a recipe so that it can’t be viewed or used by any sites (e.g. if a recipe is discontinued), head to the "Recipes" tab, and click “Edit” on the recipe you’d like to remove.

In the top left corner, click the “Delete Recipe” button.

Once you delete recipe, it cannot be recovered, so make sure that you definitely want to do this before actioning.

Temporarily remove a recipe

If you have recipe that you may use again in the future, but want to remove from sites for now (e.g. a seasonal recipe, or a recipe you’ll be changing for the future), you can “Archive” or revert the recipe back to a “Draft”.

This will remove its availability from sites, but means you can re-activate or edit it at a later date.

To do this, find the recipe within the “Recipes” tab, and click on the "Edit" button.

In the “Status” field, you can select from the drop-down and change the status of the recipe to “Archived/Draft”.

Make sure to save your changes once you’ve finished making amendments.

When you need to reactivate the recipe, simply go back to this drop-down and select “Active” once again.

Managing Recipes FAQs

  • Can I download a list of all my recipes, their ingredient details and costings?

Currently there is not a way to download a list of recipes and data relating to them from Edify. If you require this information you will need to speak to a Support agent who will be able to assist.
