Product List Management

Updated over a week ago

Overview

Your Product List shows all the finished items that your site can work with. Depending on your site type, this means products you can:

  • Produce (if you're a Hub, Standalone or Hybrid site)

  • Request from the Hub (If you're a Spoke site)

The Product List also displays important information like product tags and which productions each item is available for.

How Products Appear in Your List

Edify determines what products show in your Product List using two main rules:

Rule 1: Range/Tier Products

All products within the Ranges/Tiers assigned to your site automatically appear in your Product List.

Rule 2: Recipe-Based Products

If a recipe meets both these conditions, it appears in your Product List:

  • The recipe is assigned to your site

  • "Count in stocktake" is enabled in the recipe settings

Note: To use these products in Production Planner Mode, they must also be added to your site's assigned Ranges/Tiers.

Adding New Products

Note: Only users with Admin permission can adjust a Sites Ranges and Tiers and add new products to a Product List

To add a new product to your Product List:

  1. Assign the product to your site's Range/Tier

  2. The product will automatically appear in your Product List

Special Cases

No Ranges/Tiers Assigned

  • If your site has no ranges/tiers assigned, the Product List will show every recipe assigned to the site with "count in stocktake" enabled

  • These recipes will also be available in Production Planner Mode

Completely Empty Product List

  • If your site has no assigned recipes with "count in stocktake" enabled AND no ranges/tiers assigned, your Product List will be blank

Production Visibility

Some products can be made during any production, while others are only available at specific times (like breakfast items or closing products).

Understanding the Visibility Indicators

  • Green tick (βœ“) - Product can be made during this production

  • Red cross (βœ—) - Product cannot be made during this production

Editing Production Visibility

  1. Click the arrow on the right side of any product

  2. Scroll to the "Production Visibility" section

  3. Tick or untick the productions where this product should be available

Important: Products must have Production Visibility set to be available in Production Planner Mode. If no productions are selected, the product won't appear when planning a production
