Summary
Once a day's cutoff passes, a spoke's plan locks and the hub starts working from it. A spoke can still act after that point, but the change now needs the hub's approval rather than taking effect straight away. There are two cases:
A change request - the spoke already had a saved plan and wants to adjust the quantities.
A late plan - the spoke never planned the day before the cutoff and wants to submit one now.
Each case is covered from both sides below. For planning before the cutoff, see Planning Hub & Spoke Productions.
đĄ Both sides see updates of changes and outcomes in their notifications (the bell, top right), so a spoke sees the outcome and a hub notices new requests without opening each day.
Changing a plan that's already locked
Spoke - Requesting Changes
After the cutoff, the Planner shows a locked banner and the quantities carry a small lock icon. The status pill still reads Saved.
Select Request change.
In the Request a change panel, each recipe shows its agreed quantity with a stepper beside it. Propose the new quantity for anything you want to change.
Enter a Reason - it's required and shared across all the changes in the request.
Select Send request.
The Hub is notified of your request and can then accept or reject the changes - you will receive a notification on the outcome. Your plan only changes for the items the hub accepts; anything they reject stays at its locked quantity.
If a Hub has already dispatched a production you will be blocked from requesting changes.
Hub - Accepting or Rejecting Changes
A change request arrives as a notification and the day card is marked so you can spot it easily.
Open the Spoke requests tab. A Change requests awaiting your decision panel lists each spoke and its pending items, shown as the change - for example, Baguette ¡ P1: 9 â 10.
Handle them item by item with Accept and Reject, or use Accept all / Reject all for the whole spoke. Accepting folds the new quantity into the day's total; rejecting keeps the previously locked quantity. The spoke is notified either way.
Submitting a plan after the cutoff
Spoke - Submit a late plan
If you never planned the day and the cutoff has passed, the Planner shows The [hub] cutoff has passed, but you haven't planned this day yet. Enter your plan and Save to submit it for [hub]'s approval.
Enter your quantities and select Save plan. Because the cutoff has passed, this submits the plan for approval rather than locking it in.
A banner confirms it - Late plan submitted â awaiting [hub]'s approval. You can still edit and re-save to update it before they decide - and the status pill shows Awaiting [hub]. You can keep editing and re-saving until they decide.
Hub - Accepting or Rejecting Late Plans
A late plan arrives as a notification and the day card is marked so you can spot it easily.
Open the Spoke requests tab. The spoke's card is marked Late plan ¡ awaiting decision and notes when it was submitted and how many items are waiting, with Accept plan and Reject plan buttons. Accepting folds the quantities into the day's total; rejecting leaves the day with no plan for that spoke. The spoke is notified of your decision.
