Adding a User
Whenever a new staff member needs to be added to Edusfere, add the user under User Management.
New users don't automatically receive a login email. This lets you set them up and assign any courses they need before they log in. Let your staff know when they've been added and how to log in.
Admins and Teachers use the same login. Users with both permissions can toggle between the two using the arrow at the bottom left, by their name.
Your school's website domain was sent in an email. Users can also log in here: https://auth.edusfere.com/.
Once you've added a user, assign their courses.
For additional information on adding a user, please see our Help Article, Setting up Your School On Edusfere for Admin.
For more information on assigning courses, see our Help Article, Admin How To: Change A User's Access To A Course.
Updating Standards
If at any point you want to add additional standards to your school or remove a standard set:
Click Settings, then Standard Settings. You'll see all the standard frameworks attached to your school.
Click Edit.
Check or uncheck the box next to the standard framework you need.
If you are removing a standard framework, the system will show you how many courses, lessons, and activities it's attached to. Verify the total number of activities, then click Delete standard.
Click Save. Changes take effect right away.
You are welcome to use any standard framework sets in our library. We do our best to keep them up to date, but if you have any questions or notice an outdated one, please let us know.
For additional information on standards, please see our Help Article, Guide To Standards Review - Administrators.
Updating Unit Templates
Please note: it's important that you don't remove any fields in the unit template or there is the potential for data loss. If you want to make changes to the unit template, you can edit the existing one or create a new template.
Editing an existing template: Don't delete a field unless you're sure your teachers haven't entered information in it. Instead, add a new field or rename an existing one.
Creating a new template: If a teacher switches an existing course to a new template, data carries over only when field names match exactly. For example, if Template A includes Enduring Understanding, Template B should use the same field name.
For additional information, see our Help Article Unit Templates for Administrators. If you have other questions or would like advice on a specific situation, reach out to us through the Help Center. We’re happy to help.
Reviewing Teacher Usage
On the dashboard, you will see onboarding goals listed. These track Teacher users, not Admins. To see additional information on any of the goals, you can click the arrow in the bottom-right corner.
You will then be able to see stats on your teachers specific to that goal. You can hover over the checkmarks for date information.
Under User Management, you will be able to access additional information on your users. Role(s) and Subject(s) will automatically populate as courses are added by teachers or as they are assigned ownership to a course.
