Written by Heather Schultz

To create a new course:

  1. Log in to your portal at https://teacher.edusfere.app

  2. On the dashboard, click Add Course (top-right)

  3. Enter a Course Title

  4. Add optional details that improve AI assistance:

    • Course Description

    • Subject

    • Target Grade Level(s) (e.g., 9th Grade)

    • Add standards to your course. For more information, see our Guide to Applying Standards

  5. Add any Companion print title(s) - optional

    • When you type in the title, make sure to press enter afterwards. The title will turn blue as confirmation.

  6. Unit Form Templates

    • Your school may have created multiple templates for you to choose from here. If you have questions on which one to use, reach out to your school admin for more details.

    • If you want to change from the defaulted template, it is recommended that this is done at the time of creation of the course.

    • To change the template, click on the name and a new screen will pop up with options to choose from.

  7. Click Complete

You'll be taken to your course page to review and continue building.

On your course page, you can:

  • Expand/Collapse course details: Click the top section to show or hide information

  • Share with colleagues: Click Share at the top

    • View = Read-only access

    • Edit = Full co-authoring

  • Edit or Print course information: Use the options at the top

  • Access additional actions: Click the ⋯ (three dots) at the top-right to duplicate, delete, or pin/unpin the course.

Next steps: Create additional courses, or set up your units.
