The detailed guide on how to set up student payments directly on Edvibe.

In this article, we will explain in detail how to set up student payments directly on Edvibe.

❗️A 0.9% commission is charged for payments processed through the platform.

Payment Setup

To enable payment processing on your account, go to Settings, select the Accept payments and click "Change" next to the "Payment System" option.

Two payment systems are available for processing payments on Edvibe:

  1. Stripe

  2. WayForPay

In this article, we will provide a detailed guide on how to connect each one.

Enabling Payment for Online Lessons

To accept payments for online lessons, you need to set up the balance system. We have detailed how to do this in this article.

Without configuring the balance system in advance, you will not be able to activate payments for online lessons. If you try to enable payment options through the platform without this setup, a warning window will appear.

Once you have set up the tariffs and connected the balance system, activate the "Accept payments on the platform" option in the Balance System settings.

Enabling Payments for Online courses

Payment for students is configured individually for each online course.

Go to the "Online Courses" section and select the one you need. In the "Payments" tab, you can enable payment processing, set the cost, and copy the payment link to be used through the platform.

To allow students to make payments through the platform, copy the payment link. You can insert this link on your website or send it directly to students. The link will lead to a payment form where students will need to provide their name and email address. You can also add a required "Phone Number" field in the Online course payment settings.

Once students click on "Proceed to Payment," they will be redirected to the payment page of the system you selected.

❗️Please Note

Once you have set up payment processing on Edvibe, a "Revenue and payments" section will appear in the school's admin panel. There, you will be able to track incoming payments and monitor financial performance.


Payment System Setup

Stripe

To set up payment processing on the platform via Stripe, you need to copy the secret key for your terminal from the payment system. Then, paste it into the designated field in the payment settings on the platform. The secret key can be obtained from the Developers section under the API keys tab.

Make sure to insert the secret key into this field.

Next, you need to set up payment notifications. To do this, go to the Webhooks tab in the Developers section. Then, click the Add an endpoint button. On the page that opens, paste the following URL into the Endpoint URL field:

Next, specify the events. Click the Select events button, select all events under the Checkouts category, and click Add events. After that, click Add endpoint.

Check the Webhooks tab. If the setup was successful, an endpoint with our URL will appear there.

WayForPay

To set up payment processing via WayForPay, go to Store Settings, select your store, and scroll down to Merchant details. Copy the values from the Merchant login and Merchant Secret Key fields.

Insert them into the settings on the platform and click Save.


You can now accept payments from your students directly on Edvibe 🎉
