Understanding topic levels

Find out what topic levels are and how they work on Eedi

Updated over a week ago

Topic levels help us to set the right work for you. Think of them as levels in a game, they start off easy and get harder as you progress ๐ŸŽฎ

Once you've logged into your Learning Hub we'll ask you to complete the Starter quiz. Your results from the Starter quiz, along with your year group, will help us to determine which level you should start on.

Each level has a recommended pathway and is ordered so that you start with easier topics first and work your way through to harder ones. Whilst we offer a recommended pathway, you can still search for other topics to work on! ๐Ÿ”Ž

On your Learn page you'll find your recommended topic(s) to work on, but you can also browse through other topics in your Learning section.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Please keep in mind... schools teach in different orders so your topic pathway may not match with what you are currently studying in school - don't worry, you can still search for something else!

Once you complete all topics in your current level, you'll automatically level up โฌ†๏ธ

You can also move between levels by clicking the "Previous" or "Next Level" buttons at the bottom of your pathway:

Note: Topic levels are not linked to National Curriculum levels. Our levels are more like gaming levels ๐Ÿ‘พ

Finally, it's important to remember that everyone is different. Some students may find certain topics in a level easier than the others, and that's fine! In these cases, we recommend that you complete the topics that you find easiest first.

Ready for a challenge? ๐Ÿ’ช

You can also try Stretch and Challenge lessons. These are more difficult exam-style questions. Just giving them a go is an achievement itself!

Finding your level too easy or too hard?

If you think that your level needs adjusting please reach out to us using the Help page button in your Learning Hub, or send us an email at family@eedi.co.uk. We'll be happy to help!
