In some cases, our system detects a duplicate of the same charging session. We get data via the public charge pass and the vehicle. The timing, location and kWh will be overlapping.
This can have various underlying reasons:
The most common reason: a charge pass was not yet whitelisted. It is processed twice: by the public charging network and the vehicle data. To fix that, check out our article here.
The car did not send accurate location data. As a result, a session is registered at home while the car wasn't there. We have internal systems to detect this and forward these issues to the car manufacturer. If you see this, don't hesitate to reach out via talk@eeveemobility.com
There was an issue with the home location range. In some cases if public charging stations are situated very close to the home location, they might be incorrectly registered. Our systems will detect this too.
There was possible fraud by the driver. The driver might have set a public charging location as their home address. As a result, this is tracked as home charging.
Without our detection & filtering, these sessions are shown twice. This could lead to duplicate costs and incorrect home charging reimbursements. By filtering these out, we ensure insights & payments are accurate. However, we still advise to resolve the root cause of these issues (e.g. by whitelisting the charge pass at home locations).
If you experience any of these issues and what help, write us a message.
