Understanding Charging Session Data Visibility in the EEVEE Mobility App
EEVEE Mobility is able to show the (charging) history from the moment the connection with EEVEE is established. Any historical data from before the connection is made is not gathered by EEVEE in any way.
How Charging Data is Retrieved
Charging session data in the EEVEE Mobility app is synced whenever the vehicle remains connected to the app. This means that the app actively records charging sessions and retrieves data during the periods when the connection is established. For example, charging session history will consistently update as long as the vehicle is linked with the app during the charging activity.
Limitations with Missing Charging Sessions
Any charging events that occur during a period when the vehicle was disconnected from the app cannot be retrieved later. The app does not retrospectively capture charging sessions when no connection is available. For instance, if the app was uninstalled, the vehicle was offline, or the vehicle connection was temporarily disrupted, the charging data from those periods will not appear in your app. Only data collected after reconnection will become visible.
Recommendations to Ensure Data Visibility
To avoid missing charging session data in the future:
Maintain a Stable Connection: Ensure that your vehicle stays connected to the EEVEE Mobility app at all times.
Regularly Check Connectivity: Periodically verify that the app and vehicle are properly linked to prevent data gaps.
Promptly Reconnect the App: If a disconnection occurs, reconnect the app as soon as possible to resume data syncing. By adhering to these practices, you can minimize the chances of future data invisibility and maintain a complete history of your charging events.
