Avoid incorrect insights or reimbursements caused by missing data

Updated over a week ago

EEVEE gets data straight from the car, without any other hardware involved. Without active connection data will be lost. Make sure to keep your car connected.

Why does a car get disconnected?

The authorization of a car can expire as a result of a password change or modifications to verification or car settings. In rare cases, the car manufacturer performs a sample verification where it logs out a subset of users.

What is the impact?

Without active connection, data will be lost. You will no longer see accurate insights, reports or charging cost reimbursements. The fleet overview will no longer be up to date.

How will I get notified?

As soon as we notice a car is not connected anymore:

  • A push notification is sent via the EEVEE-app to the driver

  • An email is sent to the driver.

  • An email is sent to the fleet owner.

What should I do about it?

Drivers can reconnect their car easily via the EEVEE app. Setting up the connection depends on your car brand. If you open the EEVEE app, you will see a popup asking to reconnect.
If not the case, click the gear icon and go to Settings > Connected Cars and select the brand you want to (re) connect.
