How does home charging work?

Discover how EEVEE reimburses your electric home charging.

Updated over a week ago

EEVEE Mobility provides a hassle-free solution to allow companies to reimburse the electric home charging of their employees.

How does it work?

We use data from your vehicle to know how much energy was charged at home (and thus how much should be reimbursed).

This makes EEVEE compatible with any existing charging setup: an existing charger from a previous employer of partner? A rental home? Charging via the wall socket? It doesn't matter! EEVEE gets data directly from the car.

That's cheaper, more convenient and less prone to fraud.

What do you need?

The most important thing you need is an active data connection with your (PH)EV.

Aside from this, we'll need some basic information to ensure accurate reimbursements:

  • A home address (to match the charging sessions)

  • A bank IBAN to pay out to

  • Your full name

  • Your electricity rate (€/kWh) in some cases

Reimbursements are done at a rate set by your company. Most Belgian companies use the CREG rate to reimburse their drivers. Learn more about that by clicking here.
