What are Scene Templates?

Everything you need to know about using pre-built scenes in your events

Written by Daniella Bondar

Scene Templates are pre-designed, ready-to-use layouts you can drop into any event. Instead of building a scene from scratch, you can pick from a library of professionally designed options, each created for common livestream moments like intros, interviews, polls, product highlights, and more.

They’re perfect when you want speed, inspiration, or a polished layout without doing all the design work yourself.

What’s inside a Scene Template?

Each Scene Template comes with a complete layout that may include:

  • Guest configurations (1–4 guests, side-by-side, picture-in-picture, etc.)

  • Interactive elements like polls or meters

  • Banners or text blocks

  • Backgrounds and overlays

  • Media placeholders (videos, images)

Everything is editable once you add it to your event.

Why use Scene Templates?

Scene Templates help you:

  • Build your event faster

  • Add polished, professional layouts instantly

  • Mix and match different styles without switching your entire event template

  • Find inspiration when you’re not sure how to design a particular moment

  • Maintain consistency across recurring events

How do they work?

You can browse the full library of Scene Templates directly inside your existing event in in Effi.

Once you find one you like, just click to add it into your event . It becomes a fully editable scene, just like any you build yourself.

💡 Looking for something specific, like a scene with a poll or multiple guests? Use the filters to find exactly what you need.

Are Scene Templates customizable?

Completely.
After you insert a Scene Template, you can:

  • Edit the layout

  • Change colors, fonts, and branding

  • Add or remove interactive elements

  • Swap media or guest slots

  • Reorder scenes

  • Adjust anything to match your event style

Scene Templates give you the structure; you decide the final look.
