Scene Templates make it fast and easy to build polished scenes without starting from scratch. You can browse Effi’s library, preview layouts, and insert them directly into any event you’re working on.

Follow the steps below to add a new scene from a template.

1. Open your event

Start by opening the event where you want to add your new scene.

2. Click “Add Scene”

In your Scenes panel, select "Add Scene."

3. Choose “Scene Template”

You’ll see two options:

  • Blank Scene — start from scratch

  • Scene Template — pick from Effi’s pre-designed scenes

Select "Scene Template" to open the full library.

📝 If you prefer to build your own layouts, you can always choose Blank Scene instead.

4. Browse Scene Templates

The Scene Template library includes layouts for different types of moments, including:

  • Intros

  • Guest interviews

  • Polls

  • Demos

  • Multi-guest layouts

  • Product highlights

  • Media-focused scenes

Use filters to narrow your search for example, show only scenes with polls, or only scenes with two guests.

You can also choose to look for event-specific scenes like "Podcast" or "Fundraiser."

5. Add the scene to your event

When you find the one you want, choose it and click "Use Template."

Effi will insert that scene directly into your event’s scene list.

7. Customize the scene

Once the scene is added, you can edit anything:

Layout: guest placement, containers, sizing
Branding: colors, fonts, overlays, backgrounds
Content: text, banners, media, lower thirds
Interactive elements: polls, meters, QR codes, etc.

📝 Editing a scene does not change the original template in the library.

8. Reorder your scenes (optional)

Drag the new scene to place it exactly where it fits in your event flow.

That’s it!

You’ve added a new scene using one of Effi’s pre-designed templates — a fast, flexible way to build polished scenes without starting from a blank canvas.
