Every Scene Template in Effi is fully editable. When you add a scene template to your event, it becomes just like any other scene you’ve created yourself. You can update the layout, branding, content, and interactive elements however you’d like.

Scene Templates give you a polished starting point, but you’re never locked into the default design.

What can I edit?

Design & Branding

  • Backgrounds and overlays

  • Colors and fonts

  • Logos and brand assets

  • Borders, spacing, and styling details

Layout & Structure

  • Guest layouts

  • Media blocks (images, videos)

  • Placement of elements

  • Size and arrangement of containers

  • Add, remove, or reorder components within the scene

Interactive Elements

  • Polls, meters, QR codes, and any other elements included in the template

  • Update text, goals, labels, or visuals

  • Add new interactive elements if needed

Text & Content

  • Edit or replace any placeholder text

  • Add lower thirds or presenter notes

  • Customize banners or captions

Do my edits change the original Scene Template?

No. When you insert a Scene Template, Effi creates a copy inside your event. Editing it only affects your event, not the original template in the library. You can reuse the original template anytime.

Can I mix scene templates from different templates or styles?

Absolutely.

You can insert Scene Templates from any category, regardless of the event template you're using. Mix styles, layouts, and interactive elements however you’d like.

💡 Use filters to find scenes with specific features — like polls, multi-guest layouts, or certain design styles.
