Think of scenes as the foundation of your Effi events. Scenes are the blank canvas you can customize with design elements, media, widgets, and guests.

When you create an event a first scene will automatically be populated for you. You can start building your event using that scene— “Scene 1.”

Scene settings.

To access your scene settings, click the Layers icon on the right-hand side of Stage.

This will show you the Layers and Scene Settings for the scene you're currently on.

Select "Scene Settings" to open the menu with your scene options.

In the menu you'll see the name of the scene, and the option to choose a background color or a background image.

Clicking the kabob menu next to the scene name will give you a list of options: rename, duplicate, and delete.

💡 By default, scenes will populate as 1. Scene, 2. Scene, 3. Scene and so on. But if you plan on having a lot of scenes, we suggest renaming them in a way that's clear as to what's happening i the scene. For example, 2. Q & A or 5. Trivia.

In that same menu you also have the option to select a background color or background image for your scene. You can select either of these and change them at any time. It's also important to note that what you select for one scene does not need to be applied for the other. So if you'd like Scene 1 to have a background image but Scene 2 to have a background color, you can do that. It's your event, design it how you'd like!
