How it works
Step 1: Integrate Streamocracy
In order to start collecting donations live, you'll need to add a donation element. This allows you to set the prompt your viewers will use to donate, for example #donate or #give.
The donation element also allows you to set a fundraising goal and display a dynamic meter that tracks contributions in real-time. As the meter fills up during your broadcast, it not only helps you monitor progress but also builds excitement and encourages more donations.
Step 2: Announce to your audience
Let your viewers know they can support your campaign directly during the live stream by making donations through Streamocracy. All they have to do is go to Streamocracy.com and set up an account. Once they do that, they'll be ready to start contributing.
Step 3: Get donations during your stream
All that's left to do is start collecting those donations. During the livestream, your viewers will type into chat your chosen prompt, like #dontate followed by the amount they wish to contribute. For example, #doante5 to donate $5.
Once your event is over, you'll be able to see all the money you raised, all the incoming donations, donors, donor information, make withdrawals, and more in your Streamocracy dashboard, which you can access at any time from the Effi menu.
