During the livestream
Viewers can donate in real time by typing a donation prompt into the chat on the social platform they're using. The donation prompt is a hashtag followed by the amount they wish to contribute. For example, typing #donate20 will donate $20.
They can use this prompt as many times as they like to make additional donations, and they can choose any amount they wish. Each time they donate, they will receive a text message to confirm their contribution.
After the livestream
Donors can also continue to support you after the stream has ended. They can do this through dedicated organization pages on Streamocracy. These pages serve as a landing page for you to collect donations even when you are not live.
On these pages, your contributors can select from pre-set donation amounts or enter a custom amount to donate. This ensures they can contribute whenever it's most convenient for them, even after the live event is over.
