By default, all review types — self, peer, manager, and upward — are sent at the same time when you launch a review cycle.
However, many organizations prefer managers to complete their reviews after receiving input from self, peer, and upward reviews. Effy AI supports this with sequential manager reviews.
Enable sequential manager reviews
To send manager reviews only after other reviews are completed:
Open your review cycle and go to Settings.
Enable Send manager review after all others are submitted.
Launch the cycle.
Once enabled, manager reviews remain unsent until all required self, peer, and upward reviews for a reviewee are submitted.
Important:
Until the manager's review is sent, admins will not see it in the list of responses (sent forms).
Sending the manager review manually
If some reviews are still pending, an admin can choose to send the manager’s review manually:
Go to Reviews in the left navigation.
Open the relevant review in the Reviews tab.
Click Send manager review for the specific reviewee.
This will cancel all remaining pending responses and immediately send the manager’s review.
