The People directory is the source of truth for your organization’s structure and is used across reviews, reporting, and insights.
Viewing and editing profiles
Click on any person in the People section to open their profile.
From the profile card, you can:
Edit name, email, job title, and other basic fields
Assign or update the manager
Review reporting relationships
The Reports to field is automatically populated based on the selected manager.
Updating email addresses
If the new email address does not already exist in the workspace, you can update it directly in the person’s profile.
If the email already exists and creates a duplicate profile, contact support to merge the accounts.
Updating manager assignments
Manager assignments can be edited directly in the person’s profile.
If the Manager field appears locked, try updating it from the Participants tab within a review cycle instead.
Deactivating and removing employees
How to deactivate an employee
Go to the People section.
Hover over the employee’s row to reveal the Manage button on the right.
Click Manage, then select Deactivate from the dropdown.
The employee will be moved to the Deactivated tab and will no longer count toward your active seats.
Why deactivate instead of delete
Deactivating an employee allows you to:
Free up a paid seat (the user no longer counts toward your seat limit)
Preserve all historical review data and reports
Reactivate the employee later from the Deactivated tab, if they return
Apply seat changes at your next billing renewal
When to delete an employee
Only delete a person if they were added by mistake and have no review history.
Important:
Deleting a user permanently removes their profile and all associated data. This action cannot be undone.
