Guide to Completing a Review

How to fill out and submit review forms in Effy AI

Getting started

  • You’ll receive a notification via email and/or Slack with a link to your review.

  • Click the link to open your review dashboard.

  • You may see one or more assigned reviews:

    • Self-review

    • Peer review

    • Manager review

    • Upward review

If the process requires nominating peers (or approving peers for managers), you’ll see the task directly on your dashboard. All required actions are shown there.

Nominating peer reviewers

If peer nomination is enabled:

  1. Open your review dashboard.

  2. Select colleagues who work closely with you.

  3. Click Done when finished.

Good to know:

  • Don’t click Submit until you’ve selected all peers

  • There’s no limit on the number of peers

  • Your manager may need to approve nominations

  • Managers and direct reports are assigned automatically — you only nominate peers

If you don’t see this step, your admin may be using a different nomination method.

Completing and submitting a review

  • Answer each question thoughtfully

  • Choose the appropriate score for rating questions

  • Add specific examples in open-text responses when possible

  • Your progress is auto-saved

When finished, click Submit.

AI writing assistance

Effy AI may suggest wording for open-text answers.

  • Suggestions are optional

  • You control the final text

Viewing your review results

Once the review cycle is complete and your report is shared:

  1. You’ll receive a notification.

  2. Open Reviews in Effy AI.

  3. Select your report.

Your report may include:

  • AI-generated summary

  • Scores and ratings (if enabled)

  • Written feedback
