The "What's New" Email

Overview of Elemeno's email capabilities including weekly emails, nudge emails, and urgent notifications.

Updated over 6 months ago

Elemeno can send notifications to your team both through email and in the application.

Weekly Emails

The Elemeno platform offers a "What's New" email feature that notifies registered users of newly published content. Many of our client sites have enabled this functionality, which helps to build awareness of Elemeno resources.

Details

  • This automated email is sent on Monday morning and lists all of the resources updated and published during the previous week.

  • The subject line of the email is "New Resources Added Last Week!"

  • Emails can be sent to all registered users for your institution or can be segmented to send to only users in specific units (with only resources tagged to those units).

  • Talk to your Client Success Manager about enabling this feature.

Other Emails

Using a third-party service called Intercom, we can send emails and in-application notifications to your team or even a select subset of your team.

Nudge Emails and In-app Notifications

We can send nudge emails in situations where you need to push your team just a little bit more to log into Elemeno

This has been used for things like:

  • Getting a team of new hires onboard.

  • Reminding a team one last time about a Challenge just before it closes.

  • Re-engaging users who have not logged in recently.

Urgent Notifications

We don't do this very often, but when needed, we can send an email informing your team about high-priority announcements or specific resources that need their immediate attention. For example, one of our clients had a service closing down, and they wanted to be sure that everyone had been informed. The email included a link to more information on Elemeno.
