The Assignments feature assigns resources to specific users and teams of users. This allows you to ensure that your staff will view a resource promptly.

Assignments are mandatory activities that are to be completed with some urgency. They should not be used to "suggest" resources. Please use the Announcements or Suggested Resources features to recommend or suggest resources to your team.

For resources, an assignment is considered complete when the user has viewed the resource display page.

For forms, an assignment is considered complete when the user has submitted the form.

When a resource is assigned to a user, they will see a notification in their User Activity Panel. The notification displays the number of Assignments that they have yet to complete.

When the user clicks on the Notification, they are taken to their Assignments display, where all of their current and past assignments are displayed.

This display can also be reached by clicking on the Assignments icon in the App toolbar.
