The eMenu POS app sends each order straight to your printer. This guide shows you how to connect a printer to your Stripe S700 or Android phone or tablet by USB hub, and how to add it in the app.
Time needed: about 5 minutes.
Who does this: you or anyone at the venue with the eMenu login.
Before you start
Your Stripe S700 or Android phone or tablet with the eMenu POS app installed
Your printer, switched on with paper loaded
A USB C hub with USB ports and a charging port, such as the UGREEN Revodok 6 in 1
Your device charger
The USB cable that came with your printer
Your eMenu login (the email and password you use for eMenu)
How it works
Guests order through your QR menu or the till. The order goes to eMenu over your internet connection, reaches your device on your venue WiFi, and the app sends it to your printer.
A diagram showing an order going from the guest, to eMenu, to your venue WiFi, to your device, and then to your printer.
The USB hub is our recommended connection. The printer plugs straight into your device through the hub, so there is no wireless signal to drop during a busy service, and your device keeps charging through the hub. It works on the Stripe S700 and on Android phones and tablets.

Common problems and how to fix them
My printer is not working
Check the hub is pushed fully into your device and the printer cable is firmly in the hub. Try another USB port on the hub, and check the printer is switched on with paper loaded.
My device battery drains with the hub attached
Plug your device charger into the charging port on the hub, not into one of the USB ports.
USB does not appear when I add the printer
Check the hub is plugged into your device and the printer is switched on. TO CONFIRM: the fix support gives when USB does not appear.
My printer is too far from the till for a cable
Use WiFi instead. See the article Connect a printer by WiFi to your Stripe S700 or Android device.
