This guide walks you through how to generate, review, and copy a clinical note automatically created by Empego's AI.
Note: AI-generated notes are currently available only in the Consultation module and can be accessed after a consultation is completed.
How to Generate an AI Note (SOAP note)
Work through the consultation as you normally would by completing the following sections:
Interventions
Treatments
Recommendations
💡 If you would like an assessment to be included in the AI-generated note, please ensure it is entered in the Comments section.
Once done, click "Generate AI Note." The generated note will automatically appear on the right side of your screen.
"No Assessment Provided" Message
If the message "No Assessment Provided" appears in the AI note, it means no assessment was entered in the Comments section.
To add an assessment to the AI note:
Delete the generated AI note.
Add your assessment in the Comments section.
Generate the AI note again.
Copying the AI Note
You can copy the AI-generated note in two ways:
Click the copy icon
located below the AI note. Use the Copy button to copy only the AI note section, without including the other sections.
Once copied, paste the note directly into the patient's file.
Important
Before pasting the note into the patient's file, read it carefully and make sure all information is accurate, complete, and appropriate.
