Consultation dashboard
To access the consultation dashboard, click the "Consultation" tab and then "Dashboard" to be redirected to the appropriate page.
The consultations dashboard is divided into four sections:
Unanswered: List of consultations started (sent) but not completed;
Postponed: List of consultations that have been postponed after submission by the patient;
Dashboard: The main page where completed consultations are displayed for analysis;
Archive: List of consultations that have been analyzed or cancelled.
"Unanswered" Section
The consultations that started but still need to be completed are displayed. By default, only consultations started by staff are shown. You can also view consultations started by patients by clicking on the filter icon to the right of "Sending method" and selecting the desired methods, "Internet consultation" and "Self-service." In addition, the list first displays the most recent consultations.
In this section, you can perform the following actions:
Fill questionnaire: Allows you to access the questionnaire and answer the questions directly on your computer with the patient, regardless of how the questionnaire was initially sent;
Resend questionnaire: When you click on "View" to open the consultation card, the first button on the bottom left allows you to resend the questionnaire to the patient using the delivery method of your choice;
Cancel consultation: You can cancel the consultation by opening the consultation card. If the patient has the link, they will no longer be able to answer the questions, and the consultation will be moved to the "Archive" section of the dashboard.
"Postponed" Section
The list of postponed consultations is displayed in this section. By default, consultations are sorted according to the consultation's deferral date.
In this section, you can perform the following actions:
Analyze today: Allows you to put the consultation back on the dashboard immediately instead of waiting for the consultation's deferred date;
Modify postponed date: When you click on "View" to open the consultation card, the first turquoise button in the middle lets you change the rescheduled date to a different date, with the option of notifying the patient of the rescheduled date change.
"Dashboard" Section
The main dashboard is divided into three columns: To be analyzed, In progress, and Done. All consultations answered by patients and ready to be analyzed by the professional appear in the "To be analyzed" column of the table. When the professional is ready to analyze the consultation, he or she can open it by clicking on it or dragging it into the "In progress" column. The consultation will then open automatically.
On the consultation overview, you have access to the following information:
The reason for consultation;
The presence of alarm signs in the patient's answers (illustrated by a red flag to the right of the consultation reason);
How long the patient has been waiting since submitting the consultation (or the original consultation date if previously postponed);
Whether the patient is in person at the pharmacy or on the telephone;
If a member of staff assisted with the consultation, or if the patient responded on their own on an electronic device;
The name of the patient for whom the consultation is assigned and the patient's gender;
The presence of pregnancy, breastfeeding, allergies or medication.
When you open the consultation, you have access to the following information:
Consultation information;
The patient's personal information and access to their Empego patient profile;
Patient's answers to the questionnaire:
By clicking on the (?) icon, you can see how the question was asked, and you can modify their answers by clicking on the pencil icon;
The answer will be displayed in red if associated with an alarm sign. You can hover your cursor over the red flag icon to see the definition related to the alarm sign, if applicable;
If a question has not been answered, you will see the possible answer choices and can answer the question with the patient if required.
Suggested interventions, treatments and advice according to the reason for consultation:
You can select the items relevant to your consultation with the patient.
The comments section is where you can leave notes about the consultation.
After your consultation with the patient, you can perform the following actions with the consultation card:
Send the patient a summarized PDF copy of the consultation (with the option of choosing which sections to send). The PDF can be sent by SMS or e-mail;
Print a summarized PDF copy of the consultation (with the option of choosing which sections you wish to send);
Copy the information from the consultation and paste it into your patient file (you can select which sections you want to copy);
Postpone the consultation to a later date;
Schedule a follow-up from the selected consultation.
The consultation can then be completed. It can be dragged into the "Done" column, or if the card is still open, clicking "Close and finish" will automatically change its status and move it into the appropriate column.
"Archived" Section
The archive section of the dashboard provides access to all consultations carried out in your facility. At midnight, all consultations listed in the "Done" column of the main dashboard are automatically moved to the archive, as are consultations that have been cancelled.
