Install the self-service form on the tablet
The self-service form is available via an owner account or a pharmacist account.
1. Click on your name in the top right-hand corner of the home page.
2. Select "Public shareable links".
3. In the "Public links" section you'll find the "Tablet PIN link", and you can click on the small rectangles to copy the URL link to the clipboard.
Note:
If you have more than one pharmacy using Empego and are using an "Owner" account to access the link, make sure you have the name of the correct pharmacy at the top left of your screen, as each pharmacy has its own specific link.
If you used your tablet to generate the link, please make sure to log out before opening the PIN page.
Make sure you never save your username and password on the tablet in the waiting room.
4. This link can be copied and used on the tablet that will be available to patients in the waiting room. See the image below if needed.
Note:
Please note that this link does not require a login to an Empego account. It is a public link and does not give patients access to your pharmacy's dashboard or "Start a consultation" page.

You can also set the tablet to kiosk mode to ensure that patients don't have access to other applications or websites on the tablet (see steps in this article).
Use of "PIN for tablet" functionality by pharmacist assistant
When a patient comes to the pharmacy and you want them to complete the questionnaire on the tablet in the waiting room:
1. Select the "Patient" option and the "PIN for tablet" option.
2. Select or create the patient. Please note that a telephone number must be entered even if the "PIN for tablet" option is selected.
3. Once the fields have been completed, a 4-digit PIN is associated with the consultation. This PIN can then be used on the tablet to access the patient's consultation.
