Follow-up coupons can be printed and used by the laboratory team. The purpose of the follow-up coupon is to ensure clear communication and confirmation of the planned follow-up between the pharmacy and the patient.
There are two versions of the follow-up coupon. The first is intended for the patient and allows the date and the subject of the scheduled follow-up to be written. The second is intended for the pharmacy and is also used to confirm the method for sending the follow-up. Once this confirmation is completed, the coupon can be given to the patient as confirmation of the follow-up (see the back of the coupon).
Tips and Tricks: Delegate follow-up schedule!
Once the pharmacist has completed the "Follow-up Scheduling" section, the coupon can be given to a pharmacist assistant or technician to plan the follow-up.
