Available Products:
LightReach offers both PPAs and Leases (TPO), availability is dependent on state and utility.

Creating a proposal: must be in a region and utility supported by Palmetto.
Battery Pricing Selection
You might see multiple pricing options available. If that happens, you'll get a dropdown in the Proposal view where you can choose which pricing method to use. If you don't see the dropdown, it means there's only one pricing option available for that utility and account. The system will automatically use the best option.
You can select:
SelfC (kWh Rate) - prices based on energy usage
SelfC Cost (Raw Cost) - flat cost pricing
Backup Battery (Raw Cost) - flat cost for backup systems
Backup Battery kWh (kWh Rate) - usage-based pricing for backup
Rate Selector
LightReach now includes a consolidated rate selector that displays the kWh rate, monthly payment, PPW, and Year 1 savings all in one row. Visibility is controlled by a feature flag in the plugin settings (org admins only, all users, or off). If enabled, reps can click "Edit Rate" to open a full rate table and compare options at a glance.
The customer's LightReach account is created when LightReach is selected as the finance method when creating a proposal.
The LightReach quote and contract creation occurs on finalization.
LightReach and installers will renegotiate terms from time to time that may change the available rates, products, adders, etc. If a proposal is created but not finalized prior to price negotiations, a pop-up will show, instructing the user to refresh pricing before finalization. This ensures that rates seen in Enerflo match what is valid in LightReach's portal.
A LightReach Application Is Tied to the Proposal That Created It
Once a LightReach quote/application has been created, it is permanently linked to whichever proposal was finalized at the time the application was created — not to the deal in general.
This means: if you finalize a different proposal on the same deal later (e.g., to reflect a new design or updated pricing), the existing LightReach application will not automatically update to match. It stays tied to the original proposal.
To create a new quote and push updated numbers to an existing LightReach application:
Unfinalize the original proposal that the LightReach application was created from (not a newer one).
Make your changes on that same proposal.
Re-finalize that same proposal.
This pushes the updated pricing to the existing LightReach application.
Finalizing a brand-new/different proposal will not update the existing application — it may instead cause a mismatch or require starting a new application. If you're unsure which proposal your active LightReach application is tied to, contact Enerflo Support.
Note: Once domestic content (ITC) attestation has been completed in the LightReach portal, the deal becomes read-only in Enerflo — design and pricing changes can no longer be pushed, though application status continues to sync back. See LightReach: Domestic Content Attestation & Read-Only Mode for details. This does not apply to battery-only deals.
LightReach Adder-Specific Pricing
One of the stipulations for approving a customer for TPO products is that the deal has to save the customer money. When adders are included in the deal, it increases the overall cost of the deal. LightReach is able to work around this issue by offering increased rates when certain adders are selected.
Adders with LightReach are not adders in the sense of additional equipment, but rather additional flags for the proposal. For example, an adder that has the improvement type set as electrical upgrade will unlock higher rates.
If higher rates are not showing, check that the adders have been configured correctly and have the 'electrical upgrade' type selected in the adder settings.
Deal Requirements
As of 3/1/26, LightReach is implementing several new requirements. These include:
Full utility bills will be required. Accounts with unpaid utility bills will be stipulated.
If a utility bill has been uploaded during the consumption stage, it will automatically be sent to LightReach when the account is created. No rep action is required.
System sizes will be capped at 150% of offset, determined by the required utility bill. If the offset exceeds this threshold, the proposal will show an error message until it is reduced.
Customers on California's CARE or LMI (Low/Middle Income) Rate Plans will only be accepted at the lowest rate tier.
Designs must include TSRF (solar access) data before a proposal can be finalized. If this data is missing, finalization will be blocked with an error until the design is re-synced with the required data.
The primary customer, co-signer, and sales rep must each have a unique email address. If any two of these match, the application will be blocked from submitting until the duplicate is corrected.

Notice to Proceed (NTP) Stage
The Notice to Proceed stage gives reps real-time visibility into LightReach's M0 requirements directly inside Enerflo, so they know exactly what the customer still needs to complete before the project can move forward.
When does it appear?
The NTP stage is an optional deal template stage that surfaces automatically once a LightReach application is approved — for both solar and battery-only deals. If the finance method is removed or changed, the stage hides and will reappear if a new application is approved. It does not appear for declined or credit-frozen applications.
How to add it to a deal template
Navigate to the deal template editor (Settings > Deal > Deal Templates). As long as the org has the LightReach plugin enabled, a Notice to Proceed stage will be available to add. By default it is placed under Financing, but it can be moved to any position in the template. For more on editing deal templates, see here.
What's inside the stage
The stage displays each of LightReach's M0 requirements with a status of complete or pending. The requirements are:
Customer Account Sign Up — has the customer activated their home.palmetto.com portal account from an emailed invite
Contract — has the customer signed the DocuSign agreement
Identity — has the customer completed ID verification in the portal
Title — has title verification been completed or uploaded
Utility Bill — has a valid utility bill been submitted (solar only — not shown for battery-only deals)
ACH / Payment Method — has the customer set up automatic payments
Clear Facts Disclosure — has the customer reviewed and signed off on their order summary
Sales Rep Verification — has the rep completed Recheck verification at recheck.co
All items must be completed by the homeowner in the LightReach portal. Reps cannot clear requirements from within Enerflo — the rep's role is to monitor progress and follow up with the customer as needed.
Resend Invite
If the customer hasn't activated their LightReach portal account yet, a Resend Invite button is available in the stage. Clicking it resends the account activation email. This button is only visible if the customer has not yet activated their account.
Keeping status up to date
The NTP stage syncs automatically via webhooks when customers complete items in the LightReach portal.
Manually syncing status
If a customer says they've completed a step in the LightReach portal (e.g., uploaded ID, signed the contract) but Enerflo still shows it as incomplete, or the application seems stuck on "pending," you can force a refresh:
Go to the Financing stage on the deal.
Click the ⋯ menu > View Application History.
Click Sync Status.
This pulls the latest status directly from LightReach.
Sync Status requires the Sync Application Status permission (see Roles and Permissions). This is an Admin-level permission — if you don't see a Sync Status option, ask your company admin to grant you this permission, or contact Enerflo Support to sync it on your behalf.
"Approved with stipulations": an application can come back approved but still show items like Identity or Title as pending. These are stipulations the customer must complete directly in the LightReach portal — Enerflo can't clear them. The rep's role is to monitor and follow up with the customer.
