If you're new to Splash Sports and previously used RunYourPool (RYP) or OfficeFootballPool (OFP), you may notice that your handle (username) looks different than it did before. This is expected as part of the account unification process.
Why Is My Handle Different?
When accounts are unified into Splash Sports:
Your handle may be automatically generated or slightly modified to ensure it is unique across the platform
If your previous handle was already in use, a variation may have been assigned
In some cases, formatting differences may occur during migration
Can I Edit My Handle?
Yes, you can. Follow these steps to update your handle:
Click your profile picture in the top right corner
Select My Account
Navigate to My Profile
Click the Edit button
Update your name and handle, then save your changes
Important Notes
Handles must be unique and cannot already be in use by another user
Not all handle change requests can be guaranteed
Your handle is primarily used for display purposes within contests
