Where to find it
Go to your contest and click Commissioner in the top navigation bar.
Select Contest Vault from the sidebar.
On the Dashboard tab, the Payout Vote section appears above the Paid/Owed/Entry summary cards whenever a vote is active, marked with an In progress label.
What the vote card shows
While a vote is in progress, the card displays a live breakdown of entrant responses:
Votes submitted — total votes cast so far, shown as a count and percentage (e.g., 76/206, 36.9%)
Pending — entrants who haven't voted yet
Abstained — entrants who chose not to vote either way
Rejected — entrants who voted against the proposed payout
Approved — entrants who voted in favor of the proposed payout
Below the breakdown, additional details include:
Deadline — the date and time by which voting must be completed
Vote type — the rule used to decide the outcome (e.g., "Majority approval")
A View rejection comments link, showing how many entrants left feedback along with their rejection (e.g., 12)
Starting a new vote
Commissioners can click New vote in the top-right of the section to initiate another payout vote if needed.
Good to know
The vote card is only visible while a payout vote is active or has relevant results to display.
Entrants who reject the payout may leave a comment explaining why — reviewing these can help commissioners adjust the proposal if a revote is needed.
Under Majority Vote, the voting window is 48 hours. The Commissioner's own allocation counts as an automatic YES vote, so even if no other entrants vote during that window, the vote will still pass (effectively 1–0). There's no scenario where a Majority Vote sits open indefinitely — 48 hours is the hard limit before it resolves.
